Hi, I’m Shakya.
Every child and teen deserves to feel safe, supported, and understood. As a licensed therapist working with young people ages 10–18, I am passionate about creating a welcoming, compassionate space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves, exploring their emotions, and working through life’s challenges without fear of judgment.
I believe every young person has unique strengths, experiences, and abilities that deserve to be recognized and nurtured. My approach is centered on understanding each individual’s needs and helping them develop healthy coping strategies, emotional awareness, resilience, and self-confidence. I strive to meet each child where they are, honoring their pace and helping them feel empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
Therapy is an opportunity for children and teens to discover their strengths, build healthier relationships, better understand their emotions, and develop the skills needed to navigate life with confidence. My goal is to help every young person recognize their worth, feel heard and validated, and realize they have the ability to grow through life’s challenges. You deserve to feel heard, supported, and confident in who you are.
